# 1 Cylinder

can someone confrim that the #1 cyl. is the top right cyl. when standing behind the motor i have a 99 ficht 115 there is no ref. to #1 cyl. in there manual

MXZ.... Yes, the top startboard cylinder is #1.<br /><br />Notice the height of the cylinders. If you were able to move all of those cylinders into a straight row, you would see that the top cyl (#1) would be the cylinder you indicated.<br /><br />.....1<br />2<br />.....3<br />4

Hi joe reeves have you work on any 1999 ficht 115 engines i have a carbon problem that my dealer saids is normal the plugs are always black as coal no way will they last 100 hrs like my manual states the motor was updated once that was for a bad miss in the midrange and added some new parts and a new design plug i have the diagnostic software for my laptop i don't see anything that is wrong other than a slight miss at idle i did a compression test all cyl. at 150 i also did the cyl. dropout test number 3 cyl loss 100 rpm less then the other cyl. not sure why
