I have a 10 horse Johnson Sea horse QDL-19
can some one tell me what year it is,
it will start right up and run for a minuite or too and then speeds up and dies, but it will start ever time, what can it be,

That's a 1958 Model. Sounds like it's running lean. Remove and clean the carb thoroughly...Can you provide a little history for us on the motor...
