10 hp outboard for 12' Porta Bote

Did someone ever try a 10 HP outboard on 12 ft. Porta Bote ?

Factory recommendation is 4 to 6 hp up to 54 lb outboard.

10 hp weighs around 81.5 lb.
Will the transom be damaged with 10 hp outboard ?
Will some kind reinforcement help ?

Get your insurance and will up to date before you try that.

The 10HP is too much power and too much weight. . .about double the safe rating.
