Hey I have a 10' Glen L squirt homemade deal. I put a 35hp evinrude on it. I tried it out for the first time Yesterday. My problem is as soon as it gets on plane it the front starts bouncing around like crazy to the point that you have to stop. I've got the motor tilted in as far as it can go. Is there anything I can do to make it ride smoother. Other than putting a smaller motor on.
Thanks

Not familiar with the boat but 35hp seems huge for a 10'. Do the build plans determine a rating?

Edit: I just looked at the website, their only rated for 10hp.

Your boat is only rated for up to 10 hp. By looking at the photos in the link provided below, it looks like people are known to put up to 20hp on them. I would say that 35hp is way too much, both in terms of weight and power.

You might want to take that thing off the boat, before being introduced to its "submarine mode!"
