10hp Evinrude Age?

I have a 10hp evenrude kicker and im looking for info on that. the serial number on that is 00228 50760 sport twin. If you have info on that like what type of plugs to run and any other information on that motor would be great.

That number doesn't make sense. The nearest I can find is 10022, which is a 1961.

thats right now that i look at it better. its a 10022B what plugs should i run in it.

thanks for those pictures they were cool to see. and yest it is a 61. i just need to find out the proper plugs to be running in it.

the chart says the plugs are j4c champion with .030 gap. they are easy to find.and they are cheap to buy.
