In doing some tests last night my rectifier is blown. No big deal but.. I don't think it's connnected properly. The red wire is connected to the first pin closest to the bow(pin 8). The yellow wires are connected to 6 and 5(to the 2 yellow wires coming from the stator.

I looked up some posts on the wiring and it stated that the rectifier connects to 7, 5, 8 with pin 6 only having 1 wire going to it.

2nd question.. might be aa dumb one, but I will ask anyhow... All of my coils are cracked. 3 were repaired with epoxy. I have one that is not. I am assuming that the repair was to stop the coil from arcing to the chassis. Is it a good idea to epoxy the 3rd one and run it or replace the coils entirely? I am sure them buggers are expensive!

Re: 115 115393M wiring

ok, I have gotten the charging system figured out. I bought 2 rectifiers from radio shack.. 3.00 ea.. Wired 2 in parallel, fused. I ran the engine and checked AC from the stator. Goes up to 50v AC @ 3000. Something close to that anyway. DC output is only 12.4V@2500.. Since there is no regulator I should see 14+ volts DC, unless my battery is fully charged. Will investigate tomorrow when I get home from work. Is there something else I should look for?

As for the coils... does ne1 know a round about figure on a price for 4 new coils? I have went this far... hot gonna half-a$$ it now. If I ever sell this motor, someone is gonna get a damn good one.
