115 hp Merc Mounting Bracket

Are the (4) mounting holes the same dimensions for a 115 Merc as a 140 Johnson. 1986 models.<br />Thanks

I do not believe so...I think once Mercury switched over to the 4cyl 115 that the mountings were the same.<br /><br />TMD

Actually, if your 115 has the 2 trim/tilt arms on the outside of the bracket, then it's not the same, but if the tilt/trim is on the inside then it is the same width.<br /><br />Craig
