115 Merc with Autoblend

I own a 1989 Merc 115 inline six with autoblend.<br />From what I've read in the forum its advised to dump the autoblend and premix. I belive there is some type of shut off that will shut the motor down if the autoblend isnt working. Is there something I need to bypass or remove so my motor will run on pre mix?<br />Any help would be appreciated

Check my answer to essentially the same question on the same engine.<br /><br />If you wanna, you can always go to premix and save yourself a lot of worrying........if you are the worrying kind.<br /><br />Mark
