Bought a 2006 sea pro with a 2006 optimax 115. Seller reported engine was blown so I git it pretty cheap. Engine starts but struggles to run. Middle cylinder 60 psi other 2 at 120 psi. Boroscope shows pitting on cylinder wall. Also see broken bits of metal in cylinder. Trying to decide if I should put a used powerhead on it. My worry is that whatever caused it might cause the replacement powerhead to go bad as well. Any way to check the other components to make sure they won't damage the replacement powerhead? Maybe better off putting a whole other used engine on the boat.
