115 Yamaha 4 stroke question about drain gas out

Recently I got a Yamaha 115 4 stroke outboard. I have always had smaller outboards 5-30 HP range and I always drained the gas out of them before winter by disconnecting the hose or loosening a carb screw to drain. Any idea how I drain the gas out of this motor? I dont see a quick disconnect hose. Thanks Bob

I always drain my carbs for any lay-up periods of several weeks or months....with injectors you could run a heavier mix of Stabil or Seafoam in last tank of gas to try and protect you fuel system from fouling...

Yes I know but how do you drain the gas? Is there a carb screw that drains if anybody knows? Thanks

Could it be a fuel injected motor?
Seems all I can find on F115 are injected I believe here in the states

Honestly I am not sure if it is fuel injected or not, I will find out but it is a 2013 Yamaha 115 HP

Just run fuel stabil though it. Run it for at least 5 min. it's fuel injected you don't need to drain the vst.

a new 2013 motor?
Should be looking to your dealer for this info to make sure warranty is held up

Hi,

I'm not a mechanic, so take this with a pinch of salt, but this is what I did.
