Hi quick questions, how do i tell my engine is running lean?
and how to fix it if it is? or just leave it that way or will it cause more problems? have not checked sparks yet. and while im at it, how hard is it to check gear case oil top screw or bottom screw to unscrew and check?? what should be the WOT for a 1996 115 mercury 25" outboard?
thanks for any help you may give me guys :)

Ayuh,... A lean condition is usually shown by a lack of Power, or backfiring...
If run lean,.. Expect to see Big Holes in the pistons...

remove the screws, drain it, refill from the bottom,.. All Done...

Donno what your rpms should be at wot...
