115HP Change Stator& Trigger check Timing

Hi All,<br />Have coroded wires on stator and trigger, engine runs fine but wires are pretty bad and i want to fix. If I change the stator and the trigger do I have to re-time the engine? If yes can someone please post some instructions?<br />Thank for your help

You should at lest ck max spark advance after changing the trigger, the stator has nothing to do with the timing
