11ft Zodiac SIB hard floor inflatable keel, 8HP yamaha with 200e foil, will it plane?

As per above, will it plane. I use to have a 9.5ft model that would plane after about 30 seconds with the Mrs up front, that had no foil.

I find foils get the boat to get the nose down quicker. Also the longer length may assist? total weight onboard is about 320lb.

It should, I can plane a 9 ft with a 6 hp and no foil with 2 people 340 lb.

I had an 11' Zodiac with inflatable keel that would plane with a Merc 4hp from 1978 until the crank broke on the motor.. An 8 on that thing would have had it planing with five people in. I would start without the foil and add it if you feel the need. The 11' will plane faster than the shorter boat.
It is really important that the keel be inflated hard. Check it after the boat is in the water.
