12’ Appleby

I have recently been given a 12’ Appleby v-hull. It was a gift from my father. I’m needing assistance in finding the manufacture date. I have the title but it has the year listed as “0000”. The HIN that I have been able to find is “000788”. The only other number I have been able to find on the plate riveted to the transom is “12VGF1”

that is a serial number. literally #788. that is not a HIN

your best bet..... look in the library at fiberglassics, get a range of builds, estimate the year.

im guessing 1956-1965

however if the title says its 0000, that is all that matters..... its 0000
