I accidentally stripped the thread on my force engine for one of the spark plugs. I’ve been reading around repairs for this. They suggest either Helicoil or TimeSert. How do I know the size to buy of either or are they specifically for sparks plug repair and it’s a standard size?

Thanks! Should I use lock tight or something to keep the new thread from coming out?

I just went through this, too. The procedure I used called for high temperature RTV on the insert threads. Good luck.

JB would probably work but the instructions should recommend what you need.
Just make sure you don't get it in the plug threads.

JB is primarily used in areas that don't get much heat.
The plug hole gets REAL hot and then it cools down and gets REAL hot again.
That can make it break loose from the threads and cause a stripping problem again??
