The boat runs but lacks power. Its real lazy taking off and there is no top speed. It doesn't want to hit the high RPM's.
Sounds like the boat is starving for gas ... (1970's Glaspar)
- I was playing with the timing, moving it back and forth a little .. i have it set to the most oUtput, but I still think something is wrong.
One other symptom, When driving for more than 20 mins, the boat lacks power and eventually runs rough and dies .
anyways, I changed up the plugs, wires, Dis cap, rotor, points and changed the oil.
- after reading the posts, I didn't gap the Points ..
- Any other suggestions would be greatful.
