120 OMC any good??

Is the 4 cylinder 120 OMC setup any good on a 1978 Starcraft 17ft aluminum boat? The outdrive looks to be a volvo, is the engine a volvo also on this year? I am looking to buy this boat and any info would be helpful. Thanks

That engine has been called an "Iron Duke" for its reliability. A mechanic recently took my '69 apart and said it looked in really good shape for its age. Don't know about outdrive. Starcraft considered quality.
