I have a 1993 120hp Force. It has started to quit during idle while out on the lake. I hooked up the muffs and ran it at homeand did the same thing. Last Week I decarb using Sea Foam Spray, replaced the bulb, cleaned the plugs, carb bowls, fuel filter, checked the water seperator. cleand the carberator. I have good starts. The only thing I can think of is bad spark plugs, they are a year old. Any advice would be welcomed.

Is the ball getting soft when it quits? If so you may have an air leak somewhere in your lines or bad check valves in the fuel pump or a deteriorating fuel pump diaphram. If you haven't changed the fuel pump diaphram in a while, I would do that first.

I doubt if it is the plugs, they don't go bad in boats unless you are professional and use it every day.

I will check all the fuel lines. I replaced the bulb a month ago. So the next step is the fuel pump. Thanks

I pulled the fuel pump and sure enough a pin head size tear was on the outside of the diaphram and it was worn pretty bad. I replaced with a new one and sure enough it worked great. Thanks for help John. You saved me alot of time and money.

That's why we hang out here. Pass it on to someone in need when you can.
