Welcome to the forums mako!<br /><br />When you say just a little water comes out....from where? The tell tale or the relief ports on the midsection? If it's from the tell tale, shove a piece of wire up into it and see if that helps.<br /><br />If your seeing water from the mating joint of the lower unit and midsection....your probably running on muffs or motor flushers. This is common and nothing to be concerned about as there is no gasket between the midsection and lower unit and when using muffs, your pressurizing the water intake...water will come out somewhere.....<br /><br />Some basic questions....how long has it been since the pump was changed out? Is the engine overheating?<br /><br />Good idea for a manual, preferably on OEM manual. You can get reprints from Ken Cook Co., marine.com or the outboardwizard....all have sites, just do a search or google them up.<br /><br />Keep us posted on progress or if you have any other questions....Thanks!
