125 hp 1987 Force question

[Bayliner Cuddy]

Had it serviced a month ago and everything seemed to be running fine. Now, it runs clean at low speeds (1-7 knots) and is fine at higher rpm for about the first 5 minutes. Then it seems to get "clogged" and power drops to about half, with max speed of 10 knots. Any thoughts? Air filter? Water in the gas? Carbs? I also think some gas is leaking somewhere but have not figure out the source. Related issue? <br /><br />Thanks.

Welcome to iboats.<br /><br />You may be losing spark or the fuel supply.<br /><br />Is the fuel hose bulb remaining firm, or is it sucked flat?<br /><br />Is the vent on the fuel tank open and unobstructed?<br /><br />After running it in the bogged down state, stop the motor and check for spark on all 4 cylinders. <br /><br />Also, will it rev up in neutral when it is bogged down?<br /><br /><br />Try applying the choke when the motor is in its bogged down state. Or using a small spray bottle and spray some fuel mix into the carb throat.
