I believe the foam in my bass boat is water logged...The boat is very sluggish out of the hole and takes awhile to plane out,,,motor runs good and strong, I thought it was a motor problem, but after reading other threads about water logg problems, I went out and pulled a rod holdder out of the gunnel wall and the foam inside is wet and gritty like a sand texture,,,,How would I remove the foam from the side walls with out ruining the fiberglass , is there a for sure way of telling if it is truely water logged......I propped the boat up at about a 50 degree angle for the night to see if I can get any water out of it tomorrow,,,,,,Is this boat worth saving or should I sink it??
