I've noticed that my 1995 130 johnson has been smoking excessively. I thought it was the VRO pump, but replaced  it with no change.

When the plugs are pulled after even 2-3 minutes of running, they are noticeably wet, especially the bottom 2 which are soaking wet.

The carbs were all rebuilt. No change. Idle mixture set. No change. Primer is not leaking.

What can it be ? The motor smells really rich when it idles for a while,(5 mins or so) basically gasses the passengers out.

Can anyone help ??

Keep in mind you don't have a VRO pump. You have a fuel/oil pump that mixes the fuel/oil at a constant ratio. If you have a fuel restriction the motor may use more oil.

What spark plugs are you using? What oil?

Good luck!
