Greetings?I?m having idling issues with my 1990 135hp Mercury Black Max outboard on an 18ft Sea Ray. When running it for the first time this season, it cranked right up, idled well and ran great?no problems. On the same day, as the afternoon wore on, it began idling roughly, surging at times and stalling. At the end of the day, it would not idle at all and I had to give it throttle to crank it, pull it back to neutral then jam into gear and give it throttle to get it going, although it continues to run great at speed. I stored the boat over the winter after running the appropriate amount of Sta-bil though the fuel system, as I do every year. Any thoughts as to where to start in troubleshooting? Thanks!!!

sounds like the carbs got clogged up. You have a fuel filter? You might check it for debris. Maybe your fuel lines started to fall apart? Maybe you fuel has water in it?
