I have a 2002 135 Optimax with about 250 hrs. It has been very well maintained - annual service, mostly fresh water, but always flushed when run in salt water. Over the past year I have been having problems with the computer sensors in the oil system. The first time related to the oil resevoir on the engine. First they said it was air in the resevoir and bleed it. That did not work and the replaced the entire assembly. Last time I went in salt water, I had a different fault. This time it gave me an oil pump fault when I went above 2500 RPMs. I did not have the problem when I came home and ran in fresh water. When I took it in they said the computer was still recording faults in the oil resevoir, but they could not find any problem with the oil pump. The motor is otherwise running fine. Any thoughts?
