135hp mariner prop question

I have had a prop laying around for a while that came off of an alpha drive. The # on the prop is 48 78122 A40L 21p. it is a 3 blade aluminum. Was wondering if anyone can tell me if this will work on my 135hp mariner outboard? Also what I can expect from it if it will? The spline is 15 tooth.

Should be a bolt-on. This could depend on year of Alpha, and year of Mariner. If the Mariner is 87 or newer, it should fit...these are same as Alpha. Simply put, if it fits, it fits. Have you tried, and does it fit?

As for what to expect from it? This depends entirely on what kind of prop you are replacing with it, and how that prop currently performs.
