14' Aluminum Sterling.. Budget restore. lots of Pics

So i bought this sweet 14' aluminum boat but it was in rough shape and in need of some love, I'm in college and needed to do it all very cheap, so when you see me cutting some corners like glueing two pieces of ply together for the transom thats why!

This is how she looked when I got her.

Used a chemical paint remover to strip the ugly paint.

Pulled off the old transom and gusset (gusset had a crack from the transome being so rotten and the outboard flexing it so I got it welded)

Maiden Launch!

Hope you guys enjoyed my pics, was lots of fun working on it, Just got a 84 Doral 16.5 with OMC 3.0L I've started playing with.
