Re: 14 inches and piling up

This is a weird winter for sure Flathead. I drove my truck through the woods and meadows yesterday in 2wd. The people from PA that came up to snowmobile this weekend went back home yesterday so they could get some riding in.

Re: 14 inches and piling up

We have nothing on the ground! This is the first time this has happened in over 25 years. It was so warm in Jan they had to postpone ice fishing derby's, the ski area's are suffering....it's been a strange winter.

And what am I doing tomorrow morning... starting a new job at a motorcycle dealership that is way overstocked with sleds and related gear. No one riding means no maintenance needs either.

OMC your sno-cam is a glimmer of hope considering we are across from each other.

Bob, check out the snowmobile cam. More dirt on the trail then snow. My wife checks out these cams every day because she works there and like you said, no snow means no work.

And it has been like that for over a month! The white you see in the picture is farm plastic covering feed!

Sorry about the size.

Is that your barn Bob?, The woman next door has one almost like it fully restored for her horses.

Strange for sure. We have snow on the ground from last weekend, but didn't get anything from this one. According to our local weather guessers, our area is down 36" of snowfall this season. However they say it can still be made up for the rest of this month and March. I hope not!

Re: 14 inches and piling up

That was the barn that went with my house when this was a working farm 100+ years ago. When I purchased the house I was offered the barn for a mere 80K (along with 25 acres of swampland well 4 arces are useable) and I declined. The best part of that old dairy barn is the slate roof. Years ago they removed the wooden silo and sold the wood to a California Hot Tub company for an insane amount of $$$$

You guys got cheated. Take a look at the mess that I have to clean up later on. My poor starcraft Mariner V is under there somewhere!
