This motor belongs to a friend of mine and he just bought it from a private party a week ago .The trial run was yesterday and all went great but the tachometer was stone dead.Question is, where does the tach pick-up the rpm info to move the gauge? what voltage should be expected at idle on what color wire. This motor is a 2004 four stroke with 30 hours on it. thanks bernie. (thanks just-in-time on the cavitation plate info on my yammy)
