Ive noticed recently that the engine starts up and has good pressure up around 30-40. (sae30 oil) but once she warms up pressure will drop to around 20. After about 15-20 min of mid throttle I'll slow down to idle and pressure drops to 10 or
Less. Seems awful low. Warn pump? The engines got about 1200 hours on it so it's probably due

Re: 140 dropping oil pressure

just getting lose is all. if u got 10 p for every 1000 rpm dont worry. idle speed at 5 or 10 no big deal. gages lie 2 so check ther 2 if u want. just watch the wot and run it. way more than a pump to get the pressure back if thats what you want

Great to know. I kept my eye on the pressure as the RPMs went up and back down and it stuck right on ol rule of thumb. Thanks a lot guys
