I have an early 90s model 15 hp force outboard.<br /> From being outside the model and serial #s are all but impossible to read. Model 152X9?A (I think) <br /> From researching the Force Manual by Clymer I have came to the conclusion that my ignition is the BIM #2 series that was built by Prestolite/Wico. And only the Module/Coil with the black and gray leads can be used.<br /> The local boat dealers are of no help without the correct #s and will not spend the time to try and match up the coils.<br /> I have searched several magneto sites and found a few items that look the same but,??????<br /> Doesw any one know where I can find these coils?? Need two (2).<br /> They are basically round with a square hole in the center. Must have the black and gray wires.<br /> I have photos of them also.
