I have a 1989 15 hp Gamefisher which I am told is made by Force. I got the motor hot while trying to get my boat off the water in a wind storm. I have replaced the water pump, but now it locks up after it runs for about 5 minutes. I have removed the lower unit and run the garden hose directly into the motor but it still locks up. If I turn the flywheel backwards it unlocks the motor and it will start back up. When it locks up it does not just slow down and die it just stops. Any suggestions?
