This motor has not got more than 25 hrs on it,gear that drives oil injection has gone out,was told this is on the cranshaft to repair cost 1600-2000 or just mix oil with gas from now on, motor is not fuel injected,would just mixing oil be a good idea and save the 2000?

I had my oil injection removed although it worked just fine. Pre mixing 50:1 is fool proof, it just takes a little longer at the pump. It will be fine.
