i have checked compression all are at 110. when im at wot runs perfect. but sometimes i idles rough and sometimes not at all. just bought this boat and hoping to fix my self due to financial reason thanks for any help.
Fist thing to do to keep the finances in check is to get yourself a copy of the Merc Service Manual for your engine. achris has posted them, there's a "Sticky" thread here also. The original hard bound copy runs about 100.00. I have them on both hard bound and on CD.. I live by them.
There are at least 4 different things that can cause your idle problems with EFI. Heading down the wrong path can be expensive so the manual will be your best chance for getting it right the first time.
If you don't understand the troubleshooting guides after you get the manual then post your questions and we'll try to help.
A good way to waste money is with "Mine did that and this is what fixed it" troubleshooting.
