I just replaced the impeller in my 97 150 efi. I launched it and have 3 psi at idle (normal) when I rev the motor it shoots up to 8 psi and stops. I thought it might be a bad gauge, so I brought it home and tested the gauge and it reads correctly. Normally when I replace the impeller I have 20+ psi at 5500. It almost seems like something is happening at 8 psi to make it stop building pressure. Any help would be much appreciated
