Re: 150 merc Inline 6 fuel lines
I have a 1970 Merc 1350 inline six, 135 hp. It is the same basic motor as yours. I'll try to describe my fuel line arrangement.

Each fuel pump has 3 ports, 2 which come out horizontally and one comes out of the bottom on an angle. The upper fuel pump I'll number the ports from top to bottom 1,2, and 3. The lower fuel pump I'll number top to bottom 4,5, and 6. The #5 port is plugged. Each of the three carburetors has 2 inlet lines going into the cylindrical fuel strainer assembly. I'll call these fittings upper and lower.

Here goes. #2 is the main inlet connected to the fuel connection on the front of the motor. #1 connects to the upper inlet on the top carburetor. #3 connects to #6. #4 connects to the lower fitting on the bottom carburetor.

The other fittings on the carbs connect like this: The upper fitting of the bottom carb connects to the lower fitting of the middle carb. The lower fitting of the top carb connects to the upper fitting of the mid carb.

It sounds confusing but if you draw it out as described it will work.
