1500 merc trim motor

Putting a 1500 merc on back of the old boat. I have the trim unit that came with it but the motor is shot. Do I have any options that dont cost $500+?

Trim Motors can be bought at several diffrent locations. Dealers, salavage yards, and sometimes on Ebay. Shop for the best deal for your $ and needs.
