150xp Spark issue

Hello fellas. I have an 89 Evinrude 150xp for which I’m chasing a spark issue. I thought originally that I had a couple bad coils so I replaced them but still have the same problem. The issue is no spark on one cylinder but the no spark cylinder keeps changing!! I had no spark on one after one spark test then on another try I had spark on #1 and none on #3. Now I have spark on 3 and none on 4! Please let me know what the most likely cause for this. I’ve been told it like the timer base??

A guess would be a power pack.

Plugs were in on all tests. I have a spare power pack. I switched them and had the same problem.

Take starter apart for inspection.----Costs no money to do that.

The motor will start and run but with a miss. The last time I had it on the lake it ran fine at idle but couldn’t get it on plane. It would just bog down and die. You think it could be in the starter? I would think that once the motor is running the starter is out of the picture. But admittedly I don’t know a lot about these motors.
