well, as you all can prob tell by now, I'm going nuts not being on the water. Looks like the shop is going to kill the rest of the summer with my 140 on my sfm. I was thinking of buying a new outboard, and in the process I came across a '97 sc 190 fishmaster for sale. Private seller, one owner boat. I am not in the market for another boat, but damn, this thing looks like it just came from the showroom floor and the price is right. Really has me thinking about buying this and selling my 190 superfisherman next spring.

Enough of my rambling. the boat is all original with less than 60 hours, 57 to be exact. 1997 115hp merc 2 stroke. Only service ever done to the boat was this spring when he had the carbs rebuild due to lack of use. He has used it twice this summer and says it has ran flawlessly. this has me thinking. If I would buy this boat, what should be done to the merc? will sitting like this do any damage? Precautions?

Might be overdue for a new impeller and a lower unit lube change.

No worried, just regular maintenance, a new water pump impeller, and it may be time to replace the diaphragm in the fuel pump.
