Hey everyone,
Now I honestly appreciate all of the feedback I'm getting and answers to my silly questions I sometimes have. Now, recently I went to take my 16 foot starcraft, it's a 67 with 69 Johnson 33 on it, I took it onto the water and I've seen one guy at the ramp with exactly the same boat but then another guy with a very similar boat but with a center console. It seemed like he gutted the thing out and did his own changes.
Now believe me it looks pretty sweet with the center console rather then with what I have, 2 seats and a bench in the back. He has a bench at the front, a bench at the back behind the console too. He also looked to have seats at the front wrapping around. Now it looked like a 17 footer.
Any suggestions, feedback and STOP (what are you doing) if I took my 16 footer, sliced and opened the front. Re-did the front a little to make it nice with maybe a seat or step up. Then installed a console more in the middle of the boat with a bench seat and a bench at the front or other. I haven't looked at the restoration area on here yet, just an idea popped into my head. I gotta rip the floor apart since I've found a small leak some where in the boat. Just don't want this thing to be ugly either after it's done with a center console ugly lol.
Or, should I sell it and put in a little more cash and find a nice aluminum 18 foot starcraft with a center console ?
