1648mv or 1652?

i am trying to decide on which boat to purchase, weldbilt 1648mv or 1652 mv. i will be putting a 30 hp tiller tohatsu on it. should i go with the 16 in transom or opt for the 20 in transom? will the wider boat be better able to handle the motor on a short transom or should i stick with the 20 in?i hope to make this my last boat purchase. i retire soon.iam trying to keep my purchase price under 9500. any and all opinions welcome. thanks
