you may have to add senders

I personally wouldnt waste the money

Nice old S-19 North American and trying to maintain the original dash, guages are dropping like flies and not restorable I am told. Just looking for a solution to be able to keep an eye on engine functions.

gauges are repairable. however for the cost to repair you can get a brand new set of gauges.

also a good gateway will set you back more than a good set of gauges.

look into places that restore gauges for classic cars. Would be surprised if you can't find someone to repair them, but it will not be for the faint of wallet...

First two guages were given to a highly respected Merc dealer and I was told they were not rebuildable.

Didn't say merc dealer, they dont troll with old stuff... they sell new. google classic car gauge restoration or repair. You will find several respected companies who repair gauges. problems is they cater to show resto crowd... $$. The one that did my gauges wasn't bad for repair and calibration (aka not cosmetic resto)

merc dealers dont rebuild gauges even if they sold gauges.

you have to look into places such as D&D speedometer in the twin cities or Milwaukee speedometer in Milwaukee.

However the cost to rebuild a speedometer is about $300. a new 6 gauge set is $225-$300 retail (much less if you have a corporate connection)

They are business neighbors of mine. They sent out the guages for rebuilding and were told they could not be restored/rebuilt for whatever reason. Thanks for the info. Truly

Any pics so that I might determine if they are the same?? Black background, white and blue on most with red for tilt high limit of motor position so you do not run her when in the up position.

You can. Seen it done. Can do it for pennies too, if you are clever. But not sure I’d bother and probably prefer gauges. If you need to though. You can buy cheap analogue to digital signal kit, then display on a ipad or whatever you like. They will only be as accurate as the analogue were though.

I got one of these for the speedometer. Other functions work (except for tach, still haven't figured that out) fine, but I disconnected because I prefer the analog gauges.
