There is a plate on the back of my motor in between the heads that is leaking water at the bottom. I'm not sure what it is or how to go about fixing it. The water pump went out this past fall and the my buzzer went off telling me the motor was hot. I wasn't far from boat dock so shut it down for a bit and then headed to dock and loaded it and buzzer went back off as I was loading it I believe the temp got up to 220. I replaced water pump, thermostats, and hoses. The boat fired right up the other day first hit and sat and ran very well for about 20 min with temp staying between 60 and 100 but I noticed water leaking in the center bottom of the motor where it looks to be a gasket between a plate that runs up and down the motor with several bolts holding it on. The same thing happen on my last boat and some of the bolts were very loose so I tightened them and it stopped so I tried that with this one but it didn't help much. II try to work on most of my own stuff and do pretty good with expert direction. Can any of you guys help me out with what this is and how to go about fixing? I will post a picture when I get home from work. Thank you guys in advance you have always been alot of help.
