We have twin 1990 175 Blackmax's and are having problems with the starboard motor. The engine has about 700 hours and is regularly maintained. The engine will start in neutral as long as the throttle is past a certain point. When the rpms are reduced below 1800 (about), the engine dies. The fuel delivery appears fine and the other engine runs great off the same tank and filter/separator. If we retard the spark advance manually the engine dies so we think it may be an electrical problem. Any ideas on where to start trouble shooting would be appreciated. The Clymers manual is not helping us with this issue.

Thanks,

****
