18 SS windshield slope

I am looking for a 18 SS for my kids at the lake.
I have seen several differant pictures and it "looks" like one model has more of a slope back on the windshield than the others. In particular,a 1981 18 SS looks different than a 79. Or do the V and semi V models have a different windshield? There is a thread on this site with a 22 ft SS and it looks like the windshield is "swept" back more than the others.

I know that the older(pre-'75) SS models had a windshield that was more vertical than my '79...not sure if the early 80s models angled it back even further or not.

The 22' SS may look sleeker because the hull is so much longer. Also when you reinstall the windshield you can tweak the angle a bit to make it slope down more.

I think it depends more on the year Matlok than on the model. I've seen numerous different windshield configurations on the same models over different years.
