18xd bent prop shaft

If you spin the prop shaft on my 18xd merc you can tell the shaft is bent.
Although there is no noticeable vibration in WOT and l/u gear lube is clear with no metal or water present. I can't afford a $300 prop shaft. A machine shop could straighten the shaft but the heat process to straighten it will make it weak and could be easily bent again. Would I be unwise to run it until an obvious problem arises?

We have a local hydralic shop that cold straightens them all the time, with no problems. It was cold whem it got bent wasn't it.

I think my prop shaft is bent too (I see the same kinda wobble that kingsnakejr sees). I was wondering if I needed to address this as well... ie. what kind of further damage can be caused by this?
