Did these ever come with bearing drip oilers? Was it an option or aftermarket maybe? My 1915 that I'm restoring has one on the top crank bearing. I have seen one other 1915 with the same oiler but most have the grease cup.
I want to keep it as original as I can but have to admit I like the looks of the oiler. Lots of hit and miss engines have them. The oiler fits perfectly next to the flywheel and in front of the gas tank once it's put back on. When I got the motor the nipple attaching the oiler was broken and I replaced it. So do I keep it or not? I have a parts motor with the grease cup.
