I recently bought an Evinrude Sportwin at an estate sale for cheap. ID on the motor tag is 4355-03372, which I think makes this a 1940 3.3hp Sportwin. i like to restore old things but this is my first outboard motor. Looking for some basics steps on what to do to see if I can get it running again. What fuel should I use? Is this motor water cooled and I should run it in water only? Any info on spark plug type, gap etc? A service manual would be ideal but I haven’t been able to find anything online. Any help is appreciated. Pictures attached
