Hey guys. I was given this Lonestar by my now late father in law. He always wanted to restore it, but didn't get it done. I feel like I need to get this done for him. I have no paperwork and don't even know what model it is. I'm pretty sure it's a 1959, but honesty don't know and can't find pictures of one that looks like it and can't find any numbers on the boat. So I'm here looking for help of all kinds. I've NEVER owned a boat. It's just a hull to work with as nothing is left that can be salvaged. I'm starting with the massive cleaning and then buoyancy foam. Any recommendations on type? Pour in vs sheet? Looking forward to the challenge but feeling overwhelmed.

The hull looks to be in very good shape. I wonder how many thousands of rivets there are!

As to model, my quick guess is a Starliner. Looking forward to your progress.

Welcome aboard

Lots of tin to check out being restored in the Starcraft section. https://forums.iboats.com/forum/owners-groups-by-manufacturer/s/starcraft-boats

Looks to me like you have a 1956 or under Starliner.
