I checked out the photos, and I agree that she looks like a 50s runabout. Probably had a curved glass windshield at one time.

We are lacking good brochures from the 50s but you can check out what we've got(1958). There is a link in my signature to the brochures thread.

The way that the stern flares out on the sides indicates that it is a pre-1960s hull in my opinion. North Beach might have more info on the Speedqueen model.

there is a small lip going across the bow where it looks like a windshield once was, id love to find a replacement. i was also thinkin about putting a small bimini top on it to help keep the spray off me.

Hey grunt!

I took a look at this one the other day...

It's a 1956 12' Speedster. It originally had a bow deck and windshield on it (both gone now). It also had wood gunwales. It was a pretty cool little rig! It looks very similar (maybe same) to what you have there.

Does your 01 also come with the General Lee horn? It definitely should:cool:

Rock on!:D

of course it has the horn! Wow that is a spitting image of the general minus the bowdeck and windshield, thanks for the help bro! i really think it had a steering wheel at one time also, i wouldnt trade my starcraft for anything.

That is pretty awesome!

Yah, this one had the original dash and steering wheel laying in the bottom of the hull in pieces.
