1955 Evinrude Fleetwin 7.5 HP

I have been struggling to find proper exploded drawings on this great motor. There are missing seals/o-rings on the lower unit and I would like to find exactly what's needed and where it goes. Is it possible to use a 1958 repair guide? I know my prop and other parts are the same, does anybody know how different the '58 was from the '55? The manuel is available at my local library so I was trying to avoid the expensive service manuels from 1955. Thanks for any help!

I'm scared to say. At least I can bump it back to the top so WBeaton or F-R or someone else can tell you. Keep checking your thread, because one of them knows for sure. You can also check laingsoutboards.com and get everything you need.

I believe they made major changes in 1956, but maybe someone else can verify that. I know my 1955 5.5hp was a lot different than my 1956 5.5hp.
